In elimination cornhole, each round eliminates one person from the competition (and places that person in the next lowest spot in the auction order). Each round includes two basic steps.
Each person gets three beanbags to toss. After everybody has completed the round, the highest score wins Head of Hazelweird.
(in case of tie for high score, in the Tie-Breaker, each person with a high score tosses another three bean bags, with high score winning HOH. In case of ties during the Tie-Breaker, those without the high score are eliminated from the Tie-Breaker, and only those with the high score continue in the Tie-Breaker).
STEP TWO: THE BLOCK
The Head of Hazelweird picks two people to compete head-to-head. Those two people each get three beanbags to toss. The person with the low score is eliminated from the game, and is seated in the next low spot in the auction order.
NEXT
This pattern keeps repeating until there are only two people left. When the competition is down to two people, the HOH Competition is omitted, and the two people compete head-to-head for seats #1 and #2 (high score getting seat #1, obviously).
IMPORTANT NOTE
No person can be Head of Hazelweird for two rounds in a row; if you are the HOH in one round (i.e., you get to choose the two people on The Block), you DO NOT get to compete in the HOH Competition in the next round.
SCORING
A beanbag in the hole is worth 3 points. A beanbag on the board is worth 1 point. (if we use Abe's board, we should use Abe's board's scoring).
